ICI Homes Breaks Ground on Tamaya Development

Developers ICI Homes recently broke ground on their Tamaya project on Beach Blvd in Jacksonville, Florida. The plan calls for 2,400 homes and more than 500,000 square feet of commercial and retail space to be built on 780 acres of land at the intersection of Beach and Kernan Boulevards.
Tamaya is planned to position homeowners in an area convenient to I-295, the St. Johns Town Center, Mayo Clinic and the Beaches. Amenities will include a large lake, a $10 million center with competition sized pool and cabana plus a 10,000 square foot clubhouse with fitness center, meeting and event spaces.
The first phase will consist of 169 single family homes. Construction of an entry lane on Beach Blvd began this month and work on an eight home model village should begin in January.
