BI-LO Winn-Dixie Expansion Continues

In a recent announcement Bi-Lo/ Winn-Dixie is in the process of acquiring 165 Grocery store from The Delhaize Group.  The stores are a combination of Sweetbay generally in the Southwest areas of Florida, Harvey's who are most prevalent in North East Florida and Southern Georgia, and Reid's primarily in the Carolina's.  Much of the strategy going forward is still up in the air but it looks like the capital infusion from Bi-Lo and the operations side of Winn-Dixie is bringing about positive change and growth for the newly merged company.  A positive sign for retail sales growth in the Southeast.  See more information from the www.Jacksonville.com article Here
