The Bureau of Labor Statistics released the national unemployment figures for June and the rate remained unchanged at 8.2% which was the same for May.
State of Florida figures for June have yet to be released but have but in May it was reported at 8.6%, our Jacksonville area has fared better remaining steady at 8% for April and May. Both the State of Florida and the City of Jacksonville should release June figures in the next week and it'll be interesting to see how we've done relative to the national and state figures, when released.
