A new dog park and bar concept at Neptune Beach will soon be filled with very good boys.
Owners Jason Underwood and Lauren Wycoff first thought of the idea while daydreaming about taking their four dogs with them everywhere. Then the wheels started turning. After more than two years of work and an investment of more than $900,000, Brewhound is ready to open to the public on May 11.
Located on a one-acre plot at 1848 Kings Circle South in Neptune Beach, Brewhound features a bar, turfed main dog park area with a fresh water feature and a smaller area for small dogs. The open-air bar has tall wooden beams supporting a triangular roof over a picnic table pavilion, topped with a large fan to beat away the Florida heat.
