Orange Park Country Club, in Orange Park, FL, a suburb of
Jacksonville, has a new owner thanks to the work of Coldwell Banker Commercial
Benchmark and golf specialist Kathy Bissell.
The new owner, Tony Price, took ownership of the property in May. He is currently meeting golfers in the community. Price is offering special
rates to members of the military and retired military.
Price was most recently employed by Golf Channel in the Golf
Now division. Prior to that, he was a
golf course owner in Ohio.
The financing for the transaction was with Florida First
Capital and was coordinated by Kristen Tackett, VP & Loan Officer,
Northeast Florida Region.
The clubhouse is 18,000
square feet with banquet room, member grill and men's and ladies locker rooms.
There are also ten tennis courts.
The golf course features live oaks and is adjacent to an Audubon Society
Wildlife Preserve. The course was
originally built by Taylor Woodrow Homes and opened in 1989. Local golf course architect Bobby Weed created
the design.
