Two more National Retailers Closing Doors

The retail world is ever changing and more and more is going to online shopping, even more so for electronic products.  Radio Shack is closing the doors on approximately 1,000 stores nationwide.  The locations of the store closings has not yet been announced.  Most likely the closures will be in older outdated stores that are not producing enough revenue to justify the cost to update the stores to the new Radio Shack design and image that was rolled out in commercials for the SuperBowl.  Dots Clothing owned by Irvin Place Capital opened who opened in 1987 has made the decision to close all 359 of its stores (4 in Jacksonville). Dots has been on the decline and filed for Chapter 11 Bankruptcy in January was unable to find a buyer.
