The three-story, 80,000-square-foot center will be located adjacent to Brooks’ existing main campus at the corner of Beach and University boulevards.
University Crossing, which will serve the needs of both short- and long-term patients, will contain two specialty units: a 12-bed unit for those requiring a ventilator and a 10-bed brain injury unit. The facility is slated to open in 2015.
Brooks Rehabilitation has been serving Northeast and Central Florida for over 35 years and operates a network of 26 outpatient centers as well as a 157-bed hospital and a home health services division. Last fall, Brooks opened its Bartram Campus along Bartram Park Boulevard near Old St. Augustine Road and I-95, a facility we let you see inside of.
