Good news for all of us who put lots and lots of miles on our cars, gas prices are now the lowest they have been all year according to AAA.
Nationally the price for a gallon of gas averages $3.35 with the average price in Florida for a gallon of regular gas at $3.29. Prices were expected to be even lower but the threat of Tropical Storm Karen forced oil platforms in the Gulf of Mexico to close. Now that the threat has passed the price of gas should drop even lower.
