The Associated Press is reporting U.S. home builders are feeling more optimistic about home sales than they have in more than seven years. This trend suggests home construction will accelerate in the coming months.
The National Association of Home Builders/Wells Fargo builder sentiment index increased to 57 this month. That's up from 51 in June.
It's the third consecutive month the index has increased.
