Building Permits Up in Metro Jacksonville

   Another sign that the commercial real estate market may be improving; the Jacksonville Business Journal is reporting that building permits pulled in the Jacksonville area are up significantly over last year. Permits pulled in metro Jacksonville in October totaled 469, a 93% increase over last October's 243 total. The metro Jacksonville area includes St. Johns County with 241 permits issued, Duval County with 128, Clay County with 80 and Nassau County with 20.
