The Jacksonville Business Journal recently reported that Latitude Global Inc. signed a letter of intent to lease the former Haydon Burns Library in downtown Jacksonville, FL. The top floor of the 56,000 square foot building will serve as the corporate headquarters and the 26,000 square foot ground floor will become an entertainment facility.
One of the companies main missions is to "repurpose" distressed or outdated commercial property. Their current entertainment facility in Jacksonville, Latitude 30 on Philips Highway, was a former Toys R' Us store.
The move to downtown Jacksonville is a welcomed development as the effort to improve the quality of life and image of area continues to be a top city priority.
