“For every effect there is a root cause. Find and address the root cause rather than try to fix the effect, as there is no end to the latter.” Celestine Chua
The kill the snake attitude is not appropriate, generally. Non poisonous ones reduce rodents. Many years ago in southern Cuba, I stayed at a home in a farm area and caught a 7 foot boa in the field and brought it back to the house. My host threw it in the attic to catch rats. The next morning when I woke up, I knew something was on the pillow next to my head, but was afraid to turn and look at it, thinking the bos'a big mother might be there to retaliate against my capture from the field. I jumped out and saw it was a big lizard, ergo no danger. Henry
