Kidney Cancer Awareness Event

On Thursday, March 7th, 2013, at the Marriott Jacksonville the Judy Nicholson Foundation will hold it's annual kidney cancer awareness and fund raising event featuring Mark "Super" Duper, former All Pro Wide Receiver for the Miami Dolphins and a kidney cancer survivor, who will be introduced by his friend and team mate Paul Lankford. The Foundation is supported by several Mayo Clinic Florida physicians, and Dr. David Thiel, urology surgeon, will be the Master of Ceremonies, and will speak of advances in research to assist in the early detection and prevention of kidney cancer. Also, Mrs. Karen Gibson, another kidney cancer survivor and a Foundation Board Member will speak of her experiences with this dreaded disease to date.
